Night Heron

The Night Heron doesn't have a uk 'status', nor is there information from the RSPB. It is a very infrequent migrant visitor, but there is also a small population descended from escaped and now free-flying birds previously held at Edinburgh Zoo. They still return to the zoo, especially at feeding time for the sea-lions it would appear, but as they remain free-flying they are included on the site as there is a possibility of seeing them away from the zoo.
