Edinburgh Wildlife Flickr Group
Edinburgh is quite rightly regarded as a green city, with parks, waterways and gardens combining to provide home to a huge amount of wildlife. This site aims to document that wildlife in photo form, and make it easy for you to see just what shares the city with us, and where you might find it. The creation of the site was sparked partly by my own interest in the wildlife around us, and the Glendale wildlife site operated on Skye.
If you see something interesting, or get a great shot, then just drop me a line at my contact email, either with a picture attached, or with a link to your picture online. We'd recommend not only Flickr for storing and showing your photos online, but also the Edinburgh Wildlife photo group on that site (the group isn't run by me, and this site has no affiliation with the group, but it makes sense as a location for photos if you are using Flickr).
This is your site, and I aim
to keep it regularly updated, with newer (or better) images
for each species as and when they come in. And even if you don't
have a picture I'm always happy to hear of sightings for the
sightings page - this will be updated, usually, within 48 hours
(I'll always reply to your email), and quite often will be 'tweeted'
within a matter of hours.
